Podcast episodes, written, voiced and ready as video

Give a topic and your hosts. StrokeTale outlines the show, writes each segment, and you edit it before any voice is made. You get a mastered audio file and a video with your studio set, name plates and captions.

How it works

Free account. You approve the script before any picture is drawn.

For Podcasters, YouTubers and educators who want episodes without a studio

What you get

Made for this kind of video.

  • Seven show formats

Interview, co-hosted chat, debate, panel, solo, news roundup and storytelling, with 1 to 4 speakers.

  • You edit the script

The outline and every line are yours to change before anything is recorded.

  • Your studio set

Describe the set (lights, chairs, mood) or upload your own background and logo.

  • Audio and video

A mastered audio file for podcast apps, and a video with captions and music for YouTube.

Good to know

  • Hosts appear as name plates and sound waves, not faces.
  • Prices and plan limits for podcasts are not final.

How it works

Three steps. No timeline.

Real screens from the app. Nothing is drawn, and nothing is paid, until you approve the script.

  1. The Topic step in StrokeTale: a topic typed in, the formats, the shape and the length.

    Tell us what to make

Type a topic, paste your notes or a script, and pick the kind of video. Every setting can change later.

  2. Approve the script, free

Read every scene and change it in plain words. Nothing is drawn, and nothing is paid, until you say yes.

  3. The StrokeTale editor: the drawn scene, the Director chat for changes in plain words, and the scene timeline.

    Watch it come to life

Pictures, voice, captions and music arrive scene by scene. Change any scene by chatting, then download your MP4.

You stay in control

Nothing happens without your say.

You read the script before anything is drawn, change one scene by asking, and step back with Undo. Anything that uses credits shows its price first.

  • Approve the script first

Edit any line, or ask for a new version. Scripts and revisions are free; pictures wait for your yes.

  • Change a scene by chatting

Say what you want in plain words. Only that scene is redrawn, and scene edits are free.

  • Undo anything

Every change can be undone, and your project saves itself as you go. Exports show their price before you confirm.

Questions

Straight answers.

How long can an episode be?

From 1 minute up to 10 minutes today. Longer shows, up to 240 minutes, come with paid plans, which open soon.

Are the hosts shown on screen?

Not as faces yet. Episodes show your set, the speaker's name and a sound wave as they talk. On-screen presenters are coming soon.

How much control do I have?

All of it. You approve the script before anything is drawn, choose the look, hand, voice and music, and can change any scene, line or setting afterwards.

Can I edit after the video is made?

Yes. Ask the Director in plain words, or edit the words, pictures, figures, charts, captions and timing yourself. Only what you change is redone, and scene edits are free.

Who owns the videos I make?

You keep all rights in what you put in, and we give you all the rights we have in your videos, so you can publish them, including commercially, within our terms. Some countries don't protect AI-made material by copyright.

Is my content private?

Yes. Your projects are private unless you share them. We don't sell your data or use your content to train AI models, and you can download your data or delete your account at any time.
