Explainers with realistic photo scenes

Choose Photo at the Pictures step and each scene gets a realistic, true-to-life picture made for your video. The hand reveals it, then the camera pushes in and pans as the voice talks. Same script, voice, captions and edits as any explainer.

How it works

Free account. You approve the script before any picture is drawn.

For Healthcare, real estate, training and anyone who wants a true-to-life look

A realistic photo of a sunlit living room, traced in by the hand under the title Let the light in.

A real StrokeTale video, drawn live in your browser by the engine that renders the MP4. Press play to watch it from the start.

What you get

Made for this kind of video.

  • True-to-life pictures

Natural light, real-looking settings and colour, one picture per scene.

  • Camera moves

Push-ins, pans and slow zooms over each picture, timed to the spoken words.

  • Revealed by the hand

The hand traces each photo in, so it still feels like a drawn explainer.

  • In every shape

Lessons, training, product stories and Shorts, in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1.

Good to know

  • Still pictures with camera moves, not filmed footage or moving people.

How it works

Three steps. No timeline.

Real screens from the app. Nothing is drawn, and nothing is paid, until you approve the script.

  1. The Topic step in StrokeTale: a topic typed in, the formats, the shape and the length.

    Tell us what to make

Type a topic, paste your notes or a script, and pick the kind of video. Every setting can change later.

  2. Approve the script, free

Read every scene and change it in plain words. Nothing is drawn, and nothing is paid, until you say yes.

  3. The StrokeTale editor: the drawn scene, the Director chat for changes in plain words, and the scene timeline.

    Watch it come to life

Pictures, voice, captions and music arrive scene by scene. Change any scene by chatting, then download your MP4.

You stay in control

Nothing happens without your say.

You read the script before anything is drawn, change one scene by asking, and step back with Undo. Anything that uses credits shows its price first.

  • Approve the script first

Edit any line, or ask for a new version. Scripts and revisions are free; pictures wait for your yes.

  • Change a scene by chatting

Say what you want in plain words. Only that scene is redrawn, and scene edits are free.

  • Undo anything

Every change can be undone, and your project saves itself as you go. Exports show their price before you confirm.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is this filmed video?

No. Each scene is a still, photo-style picture made by AI for your video, brought to life with camera moves. Nobody is filmed. Real-life AI video clips are coming soon.

Can I show a real person or myself?

No. Pictures never show a real person's likeness, and you can't upload your own face or photos.

How much control do I have?

All of it. You approve the script before anything is drawn, choose the look, hand, voice and music, and can change any scene, line or setting afterwards.

Can I edit after the video is made?

Yes. Ask the Director in plain words, or edit the words, pictures, figures, charts, captions and timing yourself. Only what you change is redone, and scene edits are free.

Who owns the videos I make?

You keep all rights in what you put in, and we give you all the rights we have in your videos, so you can publish them, including commercially, within our terms. Some countries don't protect AI-made material by copyright.

Is my content private?

Yes. Your projects are private unless you share them. We don't sell your data or use your content to train AI models, and you can download your data or delete your account at any time.
